About Us
Two friends. Many places. One curious little idea.
CuriousGenie started with a simple frustration:
Why is it so hard to find something that feels like us?
We are Purva and Revati - two friends from India who have always shared a love for discovering interesting things, getting lost in beautiful places, and noticing the little details that make something special.
Over the years, life took us to different parts of the world. We travelled, moved countries, discovered new cultures, collected ideas, and inevitably came across way too many things that made us stop and think:
“This is almost perfect… but what if it was a little more fun?”
That thought stayed with us.
So we decided to do something about it.
It started with curiosity
CuriousGenie is our little corner of the internet where we get to explore that question:
What can we make that feels a little different?
We look at things we love — art, travel, fashion, places, people, pop culture, little everyday observations — and let them become starting points for our designs.
Sometimes an idea arrives fully formed.
Sometimes it starts with a sketch, a strange thought, a conversation between the two of us, or something we spotted halfway across the world.
And sometimes it is simply:
“Wait… what if we did this?”
That is usually when the fun begins.
More than a design, a little bit of us.
We don't want CuriousGenie to be just another place to buy a T-shirt. We want the things we create to have a personality.
Something that makes you smile when you notice it.
Something that feels like an inside joke, a memory from a trip, a little piece of art, or an idea you hadn't seen before.
Every design is an opportunity for us to add our own character — to play with ideas, experiment with visuals, and create something that feels genuinely ours.
And hopefully, something that feels a little bit like you, too.
What makes us Curious?
Travel.
The places we've been, the places we're dreaming about, and everything in between.
Design.
Beautiful things, unexpected combinations, tiny details, bold ideas and the joy of making something from scratch.
Art.
We love exploring different creative avenues and letting inspiration come from anywhere.
People & culture.
The more we travel, the more we realise how many ways there are to see, make and celebrate the world.
And a healthy amount of “what if?”
Because some of our favourite ideas start with questions that probably shouldn't work — until they do.

We're constantly learning, travelling, experimenting and finding new things that make us curious.
